Wow Guy's what a start ,it all began with four middle age rockers back in 2006 , Andy Cotton, Stu Handley, Chris Bevington and of course the 'Big Man' Ade Dorsett. After 6 months rehearsin with 4 weeks to go to our first Rock on the Rocks festival at Biddulph moor Chris had to leave making way for a young 4 string wonder on bass guitar Craig Johnson , together with Craig my own 26 years playing and recording with some stoke legends cumulating in radio airplay of our own self financed album and the great Terry Blood, the powerhouse of Ten's ex-professional drummer Adey and season'd Stu on vocals we hit the road with Renegade, what a ride !! great crowds lots of open air and pubs venues later we built a huge following ...
Alas in september 2007 Adey emigrated to OZ sadly missed by us all, after extensive auditioning we couldn't replace the big man !!
After a few years rest an playing with other stoke outfits I was contacted by Stu re putting the band back together, unfortunately Stu had to drop out what to do !!
I decided nowt else for it but to carry on !! recruited my old mate Craig to amaze you again on the old bass, me old mate Joey to replace me on lead guitar he is the six string wizard, although i do still play some harmony riffs but its given me scope to introduce live keyboards, you may no of Joey from Eliminator, the Phill Littler Band, Junkyard Dogz and of course Fat Chance an awesome frontman in the form of Bob Burgess on lead Vocals formerly Pitch Black and before that Fusion frontman and Skorched Earth drummer Andy tyrera on the old sticks, The best line up of guy's Renegade has had so far !! we will catch you soon hopefully at a venue near you.
just a quick update due to commitments my old brother Craig has had to leave Renegade being replaced by an awesome 4 string wizard Joe Brown and the largest guitar case i've ever seen
Ha Ha !!
